Dina Ibrahim Shehata, founder of “100 Seekh,” said the
summer launch was chosen to coincide with the influx of visitors and tourists
to Alexandria, maximizing the opportunity to reach a wide customer base.
She explained that the restaurant emphasizes the quality of
its raw materials and ingredients, offering fast Egyptian dishes such as kofta,
hawawshi, and tarb, catering to the target age groups.
She added that future plans focus on monitoring changing consumer
behavior and market demands to meet expectations and achieve sustainable
growth.
She highlighted that restaurant investment is no longer a
luxury but a strategic sector attracting both local and foreign capital.
Official data shows that Egypt’s restaurant and hotel sector grew by 8.2% in
the first quarter of FY 2024/2025, driven by rising demand for food services,
quality, speed, and unique dining experiences.
This rapid growth reflects a new reality for the restaurant
industry, which now goes beyond serving meals to offering a complete experience
that meets consumer needs and expectations.
