Ümit Günel, General Manager of Beko Egypt and Regional
Manager for Beko North Africa, said the company is committed to its role as an
active national partner in supporting both the Egyptian economy and consumers.
He noted that this move aims to help ease the financial burden on Egyptian
families, in line with the government’s directives and the Consumer Protection
Agency’s efforts to regulate prices and enhance market stability.
Günel added that the price cuts will remain in effect over
the coming period, reflecting the company’s commitment to quality and to
providing Egyptian consumers with the latest technologies in home appliances.
Beko Egypt is strengthening its presence in the local market
through its new factory, the company’s first manufacturing hub in the country
and one of its largest investments in the region. The facility aims to meet the
needs of Egyptian consumers with world-class manufacturing standards, while
also exporting to several regional markets, thereby supporting the local
economy and creating more job opportunities.
