Business Development CEO at TMG, Omar Hesham Talaat, affirmed the group's keenness to establish partnerships with major global brands, such as "Hechter Paris," one of the world's leading fashion and lifestyle brands with branches in various countries worldwide, including a prominent one in Madinaty Open Air Mall.
He added, on the sidelines of The Hechter Cup, that Madinaty
Golf Club hosted the tournament to launch the first golf apparel brand in
Egypt. He explained that the Golf Club is keen on organizing and hosting
world-class tournaments as a destination for launching global brands in Egypt.
He elaborated that the Club has managed to win the award for
Best Golf Course in Egypt for three consecutive years since its establishment,
in addition to the award for Best Golf Course in Africa for 2023. He pointed
out that the clubhouse of Madinaty Golf Club is nominated for the Best Golf
Course in Egypt and Africa awards for the current year, and is also nominated
for the Best Clubhouse in the World award for 2024.
Hechter Paris' agent in Egypt, Paul Antaki, confirmed that
Madinaty Golf Club was chosen to launch the golf clothing brand as it is the
best golf course in Egypt in addition to its well-known status as an
international golf destination.
Antaki praised the excellent organization of The Hechtar Cup
explaining that the tournament will be held annually and will be organized for
the next three years at Madinaty Golf Club.
Madinaty Golf Club hosted the "Hechter Paris"
tournament on Friday, May 3rd, with the participation of 80 players. Omar
Hisham Talat won the tournament's cup after scoring 40 points.
In the first level competition of the tournament, Burhan Rateb
achieved first place, Hugo Dabban took second place, and Ali Fahmy took third
place.
In the second level competition, Youssef Tahamy achieved
first place, Nadia Ziour took second place, and Tarek Ashry took third place.
It is worth noting that Madinaty Golf Club has successfully
hosted numerous official local and international tournaments, the most
prominent of which was the Asian Tour professional golf series "Asian
Tour", one of the world's largest golf tournaments, in addition to the
Middle East and North Africa Golf Championship "MENA Tour", which
contributes significantly to attracting sports tourism to Egypt.
Madinaty Golf Club is managed by Troon, a global golf course
management and maintenance company, one of the best in the world.
