This collaboration comes amid a growing startup sector and
the emergence of innovative ventures in the local Egyptian market.
A memorandum of understanding was signed by Sylvia Menassa,
CEO of AmCham Egypt, and Amr Mansi, Founder and CEO of the Egyptian
Entrepreneur Awards.
The signing ceremony was attended by key figures including Hossam
Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI); Karim
Yassin, AmCham Board Member and Vice President & General Manager of Procter
& Gamble; Dalia Wahba, AmCham Vice President for Membership Affairs and
Co-founder of CID Consulting; and Moataz Kotb, Vice Chair of AmCham's
Entrepreneurship Committee and Chairman of CultArk.
Through this partnership, AmCham's committees will engage with the EAA award-winning startups. This is intended to strengthen cooperation between the established business community and promising entrepreneurial ventures, driving innovation and economic growth.
