He made the remarks during a meeting with Kaweh Mansoori,
Minister of Economy of the German state of Frankfurt Hesse, on the sidelines of
the Egyptian-German Business Forum organized by the German-Arab Chamber of
Industry and Commerce.
Kouchouk noted that prospects for economic integration
between the two countries include boosting trade, investment, and scientific
exchange, as well as sharing expertise and skills. He pointed out the strong
interest of German companies in exploring the Egyptian market, increasing their
investments, and expanding existing activities in Egypt.
The minister added that the Egyptian government is pressing
ahead with economic reforms, supporting national competitiveness, and improving
the business environment to attract more private investment.
