The meeting was to finalize preparations for the second phase of the ministry's largest residential project, which includes about 400,000 housing units to be offered in several stages. The second phase will launch early October on the electronic platform.
During the meeting, the Minister stated that the Egypt Real
Estate Platform is a major step in the state's vision for digital transformation
and improving services for citizens and investors.
"We are working to make the platform a central tool for
marketing real estate projects both inside and outside Egypt, in line with
President Sisi's directives to provide innovative alternatives, encourage
real estate investment, and expand the base of beneficiaries," he said.
El-Sherbiny also explained that the ministry is preparing a
comprehensive platform for exporting Egyptian real estate, noting that this
file receives special attention from the political leadership to open new
horizons for investments.
"Exporting Egyptian real estate requires a precise
system that includes listing and classifying units, identifying target markets,
and developing a comprehensive marketing strategy on a modern electronic
platform that connects Egypt with global markets," he said.
The Minister added that periodic meetings with work teams
focus on completing the executive steps for the "Unified National Real
Estate ID System," which will help regulate the real estate market and
ensure transparency and data accuracy. He stressed that the new platform will
provide an integrated, real-time database that makes it easier for citizens and
investors to obtain information safely and reliably.
He concluded by affirming the commitment to implementing
President Sisi's vision of providing decent housing for Egyptian citizens,
enhancing Egypt's position as a promising regional and international investment
destination, and ensuring that the Egypt Real Estate Platform serves as a unified
gateway reflecting the scale of achievements and opening new horizons for
development and investment.
