Yasser Abbas, GAFI's Vice Executive President, stated that the training program reflects Egypt's vision to enhance integration with African nations. He emphasized the importance of building institutional capacity and transferring knowledge to achieve sustainable development on a continental level.
The program showcased Egypt's experience in creating a
favorable investment climate and simplifying procedures through its Investor
Service Centers. It also highlighted international agreements that support the
economic development efforts of African countries.
The training included specialized lectures delivered by a
group of experts and specialists. Topics covered included the role and
functions of GAFI, an overview of international investment laws and agreements,
company formation and post-establishment services, and a detailed explanation
of the state's investment incentives.
GAFI also presented its efforts in implementing digital
transformation and developing service delivery systems to improve the business
environment and facilitate investment procedures.
Additionally, the Authority organized a field visit to the
Investor Service Centers to give trainees practical insight into the "One-Stop
Shop" system for providing services to investors.
The program concluded with Yasser Abbas distributing certificates and commemorative gifts to the trainees.
