Salah Amer, CEO of A Capital, said continuous development
remains the key to success. The latest expansion phase positioned Porto Sokhna
Hotel as a landmark on the Ain Sokhna tourism map. The hotel is no longer only
a place for accommodation but has become a main destination for visitors thanks
to its diverse facilities and advanced services. The company also focuses on
supporting national efforts to promote sustainability through smart operating
systems and energy-saving standards.
Hotel capacity increased significantly, with occupancy rates
exceeding 90 percent even on normal days. The next phase aims to raise the
number of rooms to 200 within a short period to meet growing demand.
Development works included upgrading infrastructure and
facilities. The number of swimming pools increased to seven. The main
restaurant capacity rose from 300 to 500, with new international dining options
such as Italian and Greek cuisines added along the promenade.
The commercial promenade was redeveloped to feature
restaurants and cafes. Three modern conference and wedding halls overlooking
the sea were introduced. A fully integrated spa was built, offering pools for
women and families as well as sauna, jacuzzi, massage, gym and yoga services.
The reopening strengthened the hotel’s position as one of
the top tourist destinations in Ain Sokhna. Its proximity to Cairo and location
on the Red Sea coast make it an ideal spot for families and visitors seeking
both relaxation and luxury.
These developments also enhanced the hotel’s standing on the
international tourism map. It now attracts a growing share of foreign tourists
alongside a large base of Egyptian guests, who account for 80 percent of
visitors. Digital promotional campaigns and partnerships with international
tourism companies are planned to increase inbound tourism, supporting national
efforts to raise international arrivals.
Amer confirmed that the project reflects the ability of A
Capital to combine luxury, innovation and sustainability while advancing the
state’s strategy to promote tourism.
