The first MoU was signed between the Egyptian Mineral
Resources Authority (EMRA) and IRH. It covers technical support services for
the various phases of Egypt’s airborne survey project for mining opportunities.
The agreement also includes the launch of a modern digital platform to provide
effective access to survey results. Yasser Ramadan, Chairman of EMRA, and Ali
Rashid Al-Rashdi, CEO of IRH, signed the document.
The second MoU was signed between the Egyptian General
Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and IRH. It aims to provide commercial financing
facilities for the trade of crude oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and other
petroleum products. The memorandum also establishes a framework to reduce
financing costs by offering competitive terms. Salah Abdel Karim, CEO of EGPC,
and the CEO of IRH signed the agreement.
The signing of the two MoUs follows positive discussions
held in Cairo last month. These talks laid the foundation for broader
cooperation between the two sides, in line with the Ministry’s strategy to
secure petroleum supplies and increase returns from the mining sector.
