The Minister confirmed that more than 3,200 stores across
various commercial sectors have joined the sale since its launch. He noted that
discount rates vary, offering citizens diverse opportunities to meet their
needs at reduced prices.
He stressed that the Ministry’s inspection agencies continue
daily campaigns to ensure stores comply with announced specifications, discount
rates, and product quality, while preventing practices that may harm consumer
rights.
Farouk urged citizens to benefit from the extended clearance
period, stressing that the main objective is to balance the interests of
consumers and traders while stimulating the local market.
