The exchange rate held steady in major banks, with the dollar trading at 48.54 pounds for buying and 48.64 pounds for selling at the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, Commercial International Bank (CIB), and Bank of Alexandria.
The dollar's value has maintained relative stability since last week, as local and global markets anticipate monetary policy decisions from both the CBE and the US Federal Reserve later this month.
