The bridge extends 680 meters in length (305 meters for the
main structure and 375 meters for access roads and ramps). It also includes
covering the Denshal Canal with a tunnel structure to allow water flow,
enabling road expansion and ensuring smoother traffic flow. The project
enhances the efficiency of the Cairo–Alexandria Agricultural Road, improves
traffic movement at the entrance to Dsons Umm Dinar village, and strengthens
safety while reducing congestion and intersections along this vital route.
Minister of Public Business Sector Mohamed Shimi emphasized
that the project reflects the national role of the ministry’s companies in
implementing major national and development projects that improve quality of
life and support infrastructure across governorates. He stressed the continued
efforts to maximize the utilization of affiliated companies’ capabilities and
strengthen their contribution to the country’s comprehensive development.
