Global gold price:
Gold is trading near $3,350 per ounce, as markets await the
US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision in September, with the probability
of a rate cut rising to 84.1% compared to 70% last week.
Ehab Wassef, head of the Gold and Precious Metals Division
at the Federation of Egyptian Industries, said the Egyptian market ended last
week with a relative increase of 0.7%, equivalent to EGP 30 per gram, supported
by a 1.1% global rise in the ounce, which directly impacted local prices.
