The ministry explained that the procedures related to the
withdrawal of the land were carried out in full compliance with the law. It
stressed that all steps were based on official documents, approvals, and
statements.
The ministry added that, in the interest of transparency and
the protection of public funds, no action will be taken to reallocate the land
or change its current status. It underlined that the matter will remain pending
until the Public Prosecution issues its decision on the submitted report
regarding the change of use.
The ministry expressed its appreciation for the longstanding
social and sporting role of Zamalek Club. It noted that if the club
demonstrates genuine interest and meets the required conditions, the ministry
will consider allocating a new plot of land suitable for sports and service
activities. It stressed that any such step will be taken in accordance with the
applicable regulations, in a way that serves the public interest and safeguards
state rights.
