Professor Dr. Ahmed Hamad, Acting President of Misr Informatics University, highlighted the wide range of job opportunities available abroad for graduates of the university’s faculties. He noted that this reflects the skills that the university’s students possess, supported by partnerships with leading international universities and, most importantly, the practical training offered by partners such as major banks and companies in the Egyptian and global telecommunications and business technology sectors.

As part of its efforts to create international career opportunities for its students, the university recently hosted an introductory session presented by Mr. Masato Sanpei, Director of the Asia to Japan Initiative. The event was attended by students from the Faculties of Computer Science and Information, and Engineering, representing different study groups, with some set to graduate this year and others in 2026, 2027, and 2028.

During the session, Mr. Sanpei introduced the “Get a Job Offer in Japan” (FAST OFFER) program, which connects young professionals with more than 250 major Japanese companies, including Panasonic, Yamaha, Sega, Honda, Mitsubishi Electric, and others. The initiative offers a full pathway to employment in Japan, providing Japanese language training from beginner to intermediate levels, in addition to monthly job fairs that enable direct interviews with HR representatives from Japanese companies, opening opportunities for careers in the technology and engineering sectors.

Dr. Hamad stressed that hosting this session reflects Misr Informatics University’s commitment to preparing its students for success on the global stage, by granting access to international business networks, professional development opportunities, and the tools required to excel in diverse cultural and professional environments.

Dr. Mohamed Ismail, Assistant Professor of Physics and Supervisor of Student Activities at the University, explained that students must pass the required level of Japanese language proficiency to apply for these opportunities. He welcomed such initiatives, which open job prospects for students in Japan and beyond, noting that the program equips them linguistically and professionally while directly connecting them with leading Japanese companies through interviews and real employment opportunities. He described the initiative as a bridge to international experience that enhances the ability of graduates to compete in global labor markets.
