The ministers highlighted the importance of leveraging
Egypt’s political and diplomatic networks to attract quality and sustainable
investments. Priority sectors include renewable energy, industry, transport,
digital transformation, and advanced technology, aligned with Egypt’s economic
development goals and Vision 2030.
They agreed to intensify cooperation between the two
ministries for external promotion. This includes coordinating between
diplomatic missions and commercial offices, targeting major financial and
investment markets, and showcasing Egypt’s success in improving the investment
climate and infrastructure.
The discussion also focused on strengthening Egypt’s
economic presence in Africa. Egyptian companies will be supported to expand
into African markets, leveraging their expertise in infrastructure,
agriculture, healthcare, education, and pharmaceuticals. This effort promotes
regional economic integration and reinforces Egypt’s presence across the
continent.
The meeting is part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to unify
national institutions, activate economic diplomacy, boost growth, attract
investment, and consolidate the country’s role as a regional and international
economic hub.
