The assembly approved the company's activities, the report from the Central Auditing Organization, and the financial statements for the period ending December 31, 2024.
During the meeting, officials reviewed the company’s efforts
in cleaning stations, trains, and workshops, as well as securing work sites.
They also discussed its production of cleaning supplies, furniture, and
employee uniforms, noting the company’s reliance on its own technical staff for
equipment and vehicle repairs.
Al-Wazir emphasized the importance of a positive work
environment for employees, calling them the cornerstone of the company's
success. He stressed the need to maintain high-quality products and increase
revenues. He also called for round-the-clock efforts to ensure exceptional
cleanliness across all trains and stations, aligning with the railway system's
overall modernization.
The Minister specifically highlighted the need for increased
waste bins on trains, more frequent cleaning rounds, and awareness campaigns to
combat negative behaviors like littering. He also insisted that all staff
interacting with passengers must do so with respect and according to the law,
underscoring that the primary goal is to provide excellent service.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Al-Wazir inspected various products and uniforms manufactured by the company for its own use and for the Egyptian National Railways and its subsidiaries, noting this effort helps reduce company expenses.
