The fund, which met at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, reported that from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, it spent EGP 94.8 million supporting 10,660 workers in 41 facilities.
During the meeting, the board reviewed the fund's financial
status and the aid provided to workers in accordance with the fund's
regulations. The council was also briefed on the total amount of aid disbursed
since the fund was established.
The fund stated that it remains committed to supporting
workers in companies facing urgent challenges by providing them with wage
subsidies.
According to Minister Gobran, the provision of social protection for workers is a directive from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The fund's support aligns with its national mission to provide wage subsidies to workers in companies facing external and internal crises, helping these businesses recover and fully resume production.
