"Your Home in Egypt" 2nd phase to launch in September

Housing Minister Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny announced on Sunday a new phase of a housing initiative targeting Egyptians living abroad, as part of the country’s efforts to leverage urban development and attract foreign currency.

Speaking at the sixth Conference for Egyptians Abroad, El Sherbiny outlined the new phase of the "Beitak Fi Masr" (Your Home in Egypt) initiative. This phase will offer approximately 3,000 residential, administrative, and commercial units across 19 projects in 12 cities. The units will be rolled out in three stages, starting in September 2025 and continuing through October and November 2025.

The Minister also highlighted the success of the first phase of "Beitak Fi Masr," which launched during the previous conference. That phase offered 5,055 residential units, with exclusive discounts of 3% to 10% and payment plans up to 10 years.

El Sherbiny also provided an update on the "Bayt Al Watan" program, another government initiative providing land plots and housing to Egyptians abroad. The tenth phase of this program, which began in July 2024, initially offered 2,973 land plots and 1,377 residential units. Due to high demand, the number of land plots was increased to 14,950 in January 2025.

The Minister’s remarks came during a session on "The State's Efforts to Care for Egyptians Abroad," which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly and attended by several other ministers and representatives of Egyptian communities. The conference is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Expatriate Affairs.

El- Sherbiny stressed the ministry's commitment to meeting the needs of Egyptians abroad, in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Expatriate Affairs, through initiatives specifically launched for them.
