Labor Minister: 40 Egyptian youth to work in Bosnia

Labor Minister Mohamed Gobran on Saturday announced the delivery of 40 employment contracts to young Egyptians who will work for a construction company in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ministry said.

This first batch of contracts follows a recruitment drive for overseas jobs announced by the ministry. The selected individuals successfully passed tests conducted by the Ministry of Labor in coordination with the company.

According to a ministry statement, preparations are underway to finalize procedures for a second group of workers, with an announcement expected soon.

Gobran stated that these opportunities are part of the ministry's plan to provide decent foreign jobs for Egyptian youth. The initiative is a collaboration between the central administration for international relations and the general directorate for employment. The Minister noted that the new contracts include numerous benefits, competitive salaries, and job security, all under the ministry's supervision. The ministry will continue to raise awareness and monitor the safety of the workers abroad.

The Minister advised the youth to act as ambassadors for their country and to adhere to all duties, regulations, and laws in their host country.

Heba Ahmed, Director-General of the General Directorate for Employment, affirmed that the ministry oversaw all stages of the application and contracting process to ensure the highest standards of protection, care, and professional employment. She emphasized the ministry's commitment to providing jobs that value competence and hard work.
