The annual report from the BRICS Business Women's Alliance saw participation from over 20 countries and covered six key areas: creative industries, food and environmental safety, healthcare, inclusive economics, innovative development, and tourism.
According to the report, Ramsco implements institutional
policies that ensure equal pay and health benefits for women working in the
agricultural sector. This aligns with the company's vision of comprehensive
women's empowerment through the use of cutting-edge organic farming
technologies.
Rawya Mansour, Chairperson of Ramsco for Eco-Villages
Construction and Oasis Technology Monaco, expressed her pride, stating, "I
am proud of the selection of 'Ramsco Biotechnology' as one of the best
practices for the BRICS Business Women's Alliance, representing Egypt, in the
field of rural women's empowerment and enhancing food security."
Mansour emphasized the critical importance of women's
empowerment and gender equality, noting it as a key sustainable development
goal. She highlighted her project's commitment to empowering women and girls in
the agricultural communities where it operates, particularly addressing the
historical disparity where women received half the wages of men for
agricultural work. Mansour spearheaded the implementation of an equitable wage
system, ensuring fairness. These efforts are complemented by tangible
environmental initiatives, including replacing harmful chemicals with
biological alternatives, which have improved crop quality, reduced water
consumption by 30%, and contributed to climate change mitigation.
Under Mansour's leadership, the company has developed a
range of sustainable agricultural solutions, including biochar technology and
organic fertilizers. These innovations contribute to combating climate change
and improving land productivity while strengthening the role of women in modern
agricultural practices.
This international recognition solidifies Ramsco's position as a leading regional entity in sustainable regenerative agriculture, stemming from its commitment to environmental and social responsibility and its foundational belief in women's empowerment as a pivotal factor in its success.
