PM inspects North Coast development projects

Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly on Saturday inspected a range of development and service projects along the Northwestern Coast, including those in New Alamein City, Ras El Hekma, and Dabaa.

Madbouly's tour aimed to review the on-site progress of several development initiatives and urban planning efforts in the region. The goal, he stated, is to boost their investment value and economic returns, in line with the strategic master plans for New Alamein City, Ras El Hekma, and Dabaa.

Accompanying the prime minister were Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif El Sherbiny, Matrouh Governor Major General Khaled Shuaib, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization Major General Mokhtar Abdel Latif, and other senior officials involved in the projects.

Madbouly highlighted that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is closely monitoring the Northwestern Coast's development. El-Sisi has instructed that projects be accelerated and regularly followed up on to ensure optimal execution. This focus aims to develop assets, maximize their use, and enhance private sector partnerships, ultimately transforming the Northwestern Coast into a year-round destination for living and investment, rather than just a seasonal summer resort.

The Prime Minister added that the development of the Northwestern Coast's land is part of an effort to fully utilize its diverse potential and resources, which include tourism, agriculture, and industry. New urban communities are already being established to attract both investments and residents to the area.
