The Minister expressed his deep appreciation to the Japanese
government, its people, and the Expo organizing committee for hosting the
significant global event.
El-Khatib stated that Egypt's National Day celebration
highlights the friendship, trust, and shared aspirations between Egypt and
Japan, two civilizations whose legacies have left an indelible mark throughout
history. He noted that both nations are now looking towards the future through
innovation, sustainability, and humanity.
The minister added that Egypt is proud to participate in
Expo 2025 Osaka, which is themed "Designing Future Society for Our
Lives." He highlighted that the Egyptian pavilion embodies this theme by
showcasing Egypt's identity as a nation with ambition and a timeless heritage.
He pointed out that Egypt has historically contributed to
shaping global society, a role it continues today by building smart cities,
investing in renewable energy, digitalizing industries, and expanding its role
as a regional hub for trade and innovation.
The Minister noted that Japan is a strategic partner for
Egypt, with both countries sharing deep-rooted values of discipline,
innovation, and resilience. He emphasized that Egypt's strategic location,
competitive workforce, and extensive trade networks offer countless
opportunities for joint ventures, technology exchange, and industrial
cooperation, enabling both countries to build sustainable, smart, and
future-ready value chains together.
El-Khatib encouraged visitors to explore the Egyptian
pavilion, where the creativity of the past meets the ambitions of the modern
era.
He also extended his sincere thanks to the Egyptian team and
all partners who contributed to Egypt's successful participation in the Expo.
