The court upheld the decision of the National Elections
Authority, allowing him to contest the 2025 Senate elections under the
individual candidacy system in Cairo’s First District.
The court, presided over by Counselor Omar Dahi, Vice President of the State Council, affirmed that the rulings were issued in accordance with the law, specifically Law No. 45 of 2014 on the Exercise of Political Rights, which outlines the requirements and documents candidates must meet to run for office, including in the Senate elections.
