Engineer Dr. Veneece Fayed, advisor to the Chairman of the
New Egyptian Countryside Development Company, also attended the meeting, which
took place at the company's headquarters in Cairo.
During the discussions, Major General Abdel Wahab presented
a concise overview of the National Project for the Development of One and a
Half Million Feddans, highlighting its various stages and latest developments.
He emphasized that the project is a cornerstone for sustainable development in
Egypt, showcasing its progress and achievements as testament to the political
leadership's vision to transform it into a tangible reality. He noted the
successful establishment of essential infrastructure using cutting-edge
technologies, including the completion of communication and electricity
networks across the "New Egyptian Countryside" sites.
Discussions focused on potential joint cooperation between
Kahraba Al Kharafi Company and the New Egyptian Countryside Development Company
across various project sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and
water-related initiatives. Both parties expressed a commitment to enhancing
coordination and facilitating collaboration on the national project.
The NAT Energy Al Kharafi delegation commended the New
Egyptian Countryside Development Company's significant efforts in executing the
project, praising the scale of achievements on the ground. They asserted that
this project stands as a prominent development initiative poised to contribute
significantly to Egypt's sustainability.
Dr. Samir Farag and his accompanying delegation expressed
their anticipation for fruitful cooperation with the New Egyptian Countryside
Development Company. They pledged support for sustainable development efforts
within the one and a half million feddan lands through energy projects, which
are now being launched as part of the national project and in line with the
political leadership's vision for Egypt's "New Republic."
