Farouk appoints new executive leaders in several governorates

Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, honored a number of senior officials who have reached retirement age, in appreciation of their dedication and efforts throughout their years of service.

The honorees included Mamdouh William, Head of the Central Administration for Oversight, and Amani Ragab, Head of the Central Administration for Strategic Management, in recognition of their distinguished contributions to strengthening the ministry’s oversight and planning systems.

Farouk approved the resignation of Dr. Nagy Farag, Advisor to the Minister for Gold Affairs, who made significant efforts to advance the gold industry during his tenure. The resignation of Dr. Ahmed Shireen Korayem, Non-Executive Chairman of the Delta Sugar Company, was also accepted following a period marked by fruitful cooperation.

He also issued a series of decrees to renew confidence and appoint new undersecretaries to head the supply directorates in several governorates, including Giza, Alexandria, Sharqia, Suez, and South Sinai. This move aligns with the ministry’s strategy to revitalize field leadership and enhance operational efficiency nationwide, ensuring better services for citizens and promoting market stability.

Dr. Farouk affirmed the ministry’s ongoing commitment to supporting qualified personnel, empowering young leaders, and advancing administrative systems in line with the state’s vision of building an efficient and effective public sector.
