Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, is intensifying his oversight of the presidential initiative "Housing for All Egyptians," conducting frequent inspection tours and reviewing reports. The initiative is set to deliver thousands of residential units to limited and middle-income citizens across various new cities, a key part of the Ministry's nationwide housing strategy.

During his review of residential units currently under construction in 10th of Ramadan City, New October, New Assiut, and New Qena, the Minister emphasized the critical need for continuous on-site work monitoring. He urged accelerated efforts on building construction, alongside the swift completion of essential service and utility projects at the implementation sites. Minister El-Sherbiny also stressed the importance of rapidly addressing any obstacles that could impede progress, ensuring that residential units are delivered to citizens with the highest quality standards and within the stipulated timelines.

In the same context, Engineer Alaa Abdellah Moustafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, accompanied by Engineer Ahmed Ismail, representing the Technical Support Unit at the Ministry of Housing, and other authority officials, conducted an extensive inspection tour of various housing projects under the "Housing for All Egyptians" presidential initiative within the city.

The tour specifically focused on the implementation progress of residential units in the Narges District – phases five and six. Phase five comprises 298 buildings, totaling 7,152 residential units, each measuring 90 square meters, which have reached an advanced completion rate. Phase six includes 240 buildings with 5,760 fully serviced residential units of the same size.

Throughout the inspection, strong emphasis was placed on ensuring strict adherence to the specified technical specifications and construction standards for the units. Officials also stressed the importance of completing the projects according to approved timelines and promptly addressing any on-site obstacles faced by the executing companies.

Engineer Mohamed Abdel Maksoud, Head of the New October City Development Authority, provided an update on the city's significant housing projects. He detailed that Phase six of the "Housing for All Egyptians" presidential initiative in New October City encompasses approximately 55,000 residential units specifically designated for limited-income citizens.

In a stride towards environmental sustainability, the "Green Housing" initiative in the city includes nearly 14,000 residential units currently being implemented according to stringent sustainability and energy efficiency standards. This demonstrates a commitment to environmentally conscious urban development.

The Head of the New October Authority further highlighted the scale of development in the West Airport area, which features approximately 104,000 residential units that have either been completed or are currently under construction. These housing projects alone represent total investments exceeding EGP 60 billion. Complementing this, over EGP 20 billion has been invested in crucial infrastructure and public utility projects. These substantial investments underscore New October City's position as a prominent example of integrated urban development in Egypt.

In this context, Engineer Mahmoud Murad, Deputy Head of the New October City Authority, and authority officials conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of the "Housing for All Egyptians" presidential initiative projects in the city, in addition to inspecting ongoing work on the "Green Housing" project units in the West Airport area.

The tour involved a detailed follow-up on the construction implementation stages, from foundations and concrete structures, to inspecting finishing works inside some units and reviewing the external facades of buildings, including color coordination and architectural details.

Engineer Yasser Abdullah, Head of the New Assiut City Development Authority, along with authority officials, conducted an inspection of the finishing works for the "Housing for All Egyptians" presidential initiative buildings located in the 26-acre area of the city's southeastern expansions. He emphasized to the executing companies the crucial need to adhere strictly to the project's timeline while maintaining high-quality standards for finishes and utilities.

Concurrently, Engineer Ayman Rashad Abdel-Hamid, Head of the New Qena City Development Authority, and officials assessed the completion rates of several "Housing for All Egyptians" presidential initiative buildings within the 600-acre area of the city's eastern expansions. These units, designed as "3 rooms and a hall" (90 square meters), are reported to be nearing completion.

Rashad and his team also inspected other residential units in the initiative, measuring 75 square meters ("2 rooms and a hall"), which are also close to completion, with ongoing general site coordination works. During the tour, the Head of the New Qena Authority reiterated the importance for executing companies to expedite the remaining works to ensure swift delivery of the units to their beneficiaries.
