The diamond drilling program began in June 2024 and was
successfully completed with 113 holes drilled, totaling 9,642.7 meters.
The program focused on testing previously undrilled surface
mineralization zones, with the majority of holes drilled horizontally or at
shallow angles to maximize penetration of the mineralized layers.
Recent drilling results confirmed the presence of high-grade
mineral intersections, including 33.86 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold and 419
g/t of silver. Another intersection recorded 44.59 g/t of gold and 103 g/t of
silver, indicating rich concentrations and promising mineral extensions deep
within the rock formations.
These results build on the promising data previously announced by the company and reflect the rich geological potential of the area. These results further strengthen Aton Resources' commitment to developing a high-value mining project. They support Egypt’s strategy for sustainable growth in the mining sector and help attract more international investment to the Eastern Desert, one of the most promising mineral-rich regions within the Arabian-Nubian Shield.
