El-Sherbiny assessed the progress of the "New Marina" Lakes project, the El-Boughaz project designed to supply water to New Marina Lake, and the related service roads and entrances at Marina. He was accompanied by officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Head of the Tourist Villages Authority.
During his tour, the Minister received detailed briefings on
the executive status of the New Marina Lake project and the El-Boughaz water
supply initiative. He urged all relevant parties to coordinate closely and
accelerate work due to the projects' significance.
Dr. Mohamed Khalaf Allah, Head of the Tourist Villages
Authority, explained that the Al-Boughaz project encompasses two pumping
stations, two pipeline routes, a water tunnel, and New Marina Lake. The entire
project covers a total area of 820,000 square meters, with daily excavation
rates on the rise.
El-Sherbiny also reviewed the upgrade of the dual-carriageway service road from Marina 1 to Marina 3, alongside gate development and landscaping efforts. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards for all green areas, noting that the current work marks a significant improvement in traffic flow and capacity for the Marina service lane.
