insurance activities reached EGP 22.1 billion. The value of premiums collected
for personal and fund accumulation insurance activities recorded EGP 16.3
billion in April 2025.
The total value of compensation paid by the insurance sector
was EGP 18.4 billion at the end of April 2025. The value of compensation paid
for property and liability insurance was EGP 8.9 billion. The value of
compensation paid for personal and fund accumulation insurance recorded EGP 9.5
billion.
