He highlighted the focus on leveraging promising growth opportunities, both in cultivating sugar crops and developing related integrated industries, as part of the state's drive to enhance food security.

The Prime Minister instructed relevant ministers to convene with manufacturers to outline the state's sugar industry strategy, including demand forecasts, to agree on a clear action plan that aligns with national objectives.

Cabinet spokesperson Counselor Mohamed El Homosany stated that the meeting delved into the state's strategy for the sugar industry's growth and ways to bolster this vital sector. Discussions also covered maximizing the benefits from existing sugar-related industries and their products.
