Essam explained that this cooperation falls within the framework of the national role of technical education and applied technology schools in achieving Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development. It affirms Ammar School's commitment to providing technical education that meets international standards.
She added that this cooperation also gives students at the school a real opportunity to learn in a professional work environment, which serves the state's vision and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education's strategy to link technical education to the actual needs of the Egyptian labor market through curricula that focus on the skills required in the labor market, provide intensive practical training programs, and continuously update curricula to keep pace with technological developments. It also enhances cooperation between educational institutions and employers.
She stressed that the protocol is part of a series of important events and activities in support of students' future in the hospitality sector. She affirmed the belief that building a new generation of qualified technicians begins within the school, through field training, and strong partnerships that make a difference.
The objectives of the training protocol between Ammar School of Applied Technology and the SIWSS INN Hotel include acquiring practical skills that meet the needs of the labor market, enhancing future employment opportunities through engaging in real-life training experiences, and opening new doors to interaction with the tourism and hotel sector.
The signing of the protocol was attended by Dr. Gamal Hassan, representative of the industrial partner and academic advisor for the hotel sector; Tamer Fouad, General Manager of the SWISS INN Hotel; Ghada Ahmed, Director of the Hotel's Training Department; and Fathy Abdel Shafi, Director of Food and Beverage.
