Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting this morning, Monday, to follow up on the implementation status of the Central Business District project in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting was attended by officials from the Chinese construction company CSCEC, project officials, the ministry, and the New Urban Communities Authority.

El-Sherbiny followed up on the implementation status of the Crescent Tower, including ongoing work on the entrance, ground floor, and interior finishes. He also reviewed the progress of work at the Fairmont Hotel, including supplies and installations, room furnishings, and the implementation rates of the external area. He directed that work be pushed forward until the finishing touches are completed on schedule.

He also reviewed the implementation status of the Iconic Tower, including the main finishing works and supplies, as well as the project's residential and administrative towers and site landscaping.

The Minister of Housing called for regular monitoring of all work and the completion of any outstanding issues to ensure the project is completed within the specified timeframe. He also directed coordination with the operator to follow up on work and final delivery.

It's worth noting that the Central Business District in the New Administrative Capital includes a group of multi-use towers, divided as follows: 10 towers with activities (administrative, office, commercial, and service), with a total area of ​​806,000 square meters and heights ranging from 80 to 175 meters. Five residential towers with 1,700 fully finished residential units, with a total area of ​​102,000 square meters and heights ranging from 152 to 200 meters, are also located. The Crescent Towers (consisting of four connected towers) are dedicated to activities (hotels, hotel apartments, public services, entertainment services, and commercial). The Crescent Towers reach a height of 64 meters.

 The distinctive feature of the Central Business District in the New Administrative Capital is the iconic tower, the tallest tower in Africa, at a height of about 400 meters, with multiple activities (hotels, commercial, and administrative). It includes one of the international hotels operating for the first time in Egypt and Africa, hotel and administrative units, a commercial area containing many services (businessmen, entertainment services, commercial, and hotel), 40 floors for multi-use administrative offices, 10 floors for hotel apartments with 52 apartments, and 30 floors for the hotel with 183 rooms, with a total area of ​​266 thousand m2.
