The meeting, the third with the aforementioned consortium, discussed technical and economic studies prepared by Rusal regarding potential cooperation and partnerships with Egypt Aluminum Company, a subsidiary of the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, a giant industrial entity in the aluminum sector. This is particularly true in light of the numerous available investment opportunities and development projects.
Shimi stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships with major international companies in various industrial sectors, leveraging the latest technologies, supporting and developing local industry, increasing the production and competitiveness of the Ministry's affiliated companies, enhancing their operational efficiency, and enhancing their contribution to supporting industry and the national economy. This is in light of the general trend to attract more foreign investment, deepen local manufacturing, increase added value, and adopt the latest technologies in production.
