He further stated that the lowest job grade will experience a monthly increase of EGP 1,100 in "total pay." This adjustment will ensure a minimum wage of no less than EGP 7,000 per month, incorporating a 10% periodic bonus for civil service employees and 15% for those not covered by the civil service law, with a minimum bonus of EGP 150 per month.
Kouchouk further indicated the provision of an additional fixed incentive, ranging from EGP 600 to EGP 700, for all employees. He clarified that the new budget allocates EGP 679.1 billion for wages, representing an 18.1% annual growth. Sufficient financial provisions have also been secured to ensure the ability to hire an adequate number of staff in the health and education sectors, guaranteeing quality service provision for citizens.
