El-Kilani and Amawi accompanied by Dr. Maged Moussa, Head of the Central Administration of Airport Customs, inspected the customs system at Terminals 2 and 3 and urged employees to redouble their efforts during peak times to ensure the comfort of passengers.
El-Kilani and Amawi engaged in a friendly dialogue with a number of Egyptians returning from abroad at Terminal 3 while they were electronically registering their mobile phones. They emphasized the Ministry of Finance and the Customs Authority's commitment to facilitating and expediting customs procedures.
Amawi, head of the Customs Authority, indicated that the number of employees has been increased to support the customs work system at the airport and ensure the speed and ease of registering mobile phones with the electronic application. He noted that the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has supported customs officers by providing them with the necessary electronic devices to register mobile phones, to facilitate the process for passengers returning from abroad.
