Work in all Egyptian banks will be suspended starting Thursday, June 5, 2025, and will resume on the morning of Tuesday, June 10, 2025. This closure is in observance of Arafat Day and the blessed Eid al-Adha for the Hijri year 1446 AH.

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced today, Monday, that banks across the country will observe an extended holiday for Eid al-Adha and Arafat Day.
