EGP 3.3 trillion was the value of declarations on movable
assets recorded in the Movable Collateral Registry.

The latest reports from the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) for the first quarter of 2025 regarding the insurance sector revealed that the total collected insurance premiums reached EGP 30.3 billion.
Specifically, collected premiums for property and liability
insurance activities amounted to EGP 17.5 billion, while collected premiums for
personal and capital formation insurance activities registered EGP 12.8 billion
in Q1 2025.
The total value of compensation paid by the insurance sector
reached EGP 13.7 billion by the end of Q1 2025. Of this, EGP 6.6 billion was
paid for property and liability insurance compensation, while EGP 7.1 billion
was paid for personal and capital formation insurance compensation.
It is worth noting that property and liability insurance refers to insuring properties against risks such as fire or theft, and insuring homes, cars, warehouses, goods, and other assets. Meanwhile, personal and capital formation insurance refers to life insurance, death insurance, personal accident insurance, and other various types of insurance.
