Suzanne Clark, CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, confirmed that American companies are seeking to explore more opportunities in the Egyptian market across various sectors.

In her speech at the Egypt-US Policy Leaders Forum 2025 in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Clark stated that the most prominent areas of cooperation include digital transformation and artificial intelligence, energy security (oil, gas, and renewable energy), healthcare, and strengthening supply chains. She also highlighted opportunities in the Suez Canal Economic Zone and ways to enhance the Egyptian tourism sector.

Clark began her speech by expressing her appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, the ministers, and members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Egyptian-American Business Council. She praised the historic strategic relations between Egypt and the United States, noting the celebration of the centenary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

She emphasized that the purpose of this forum is to discuss efforts to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of trade and investment, emphasizing the Chamber's commitment to supporting trade relations between the two countries.

She also reviewed the development of economic relations between Egypt and the United States since the era of openness under the late President Anwar El Sadat, explaining how both Egypt and the United States were able to develop their economic relations despite geopolitical challenges and risks, as well as the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
