El Khatib will meet with Abdulla Al Sahi, Managing Director and Board Member of Modon Properties Holding Company, to review the developments of the Ras Al Hekma project and other company projects in Egypt.
During his visit, the Minister is scheduled to meet with Dr.
Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade. Their
discussion will focus on strategies to enhance trade relations and review the
progress of negotiations for a strategic partnership agreement between Egypt
and the UAE. Additionally, El Khatib will meet with Patrick Chalhoub, Chairman
of the Chalhoub Group, to explore investment opportunities and potential within
the Egyptian market.
In addition, the Minister is slated to participate in a conference organized by the EMIR Center, a prominent institution specializing in research and consulting for emerging markets. He will also attend a working lunch with Mahmoud Alhameli, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation Group. This meeting will focus on exploring potential avenues of cooperation between the group and Egypt in diverse sectors, including aviation, shipping, maintenance, training, and air transport services. The aim of this collaboration is to address local market demands and facilitate expansion into African markets.
