Shalaby added that these sales are within the company's target for this year, which is approximately EGP 35 billion, compared to EGP 33 billion in contracted sales achieved last year.
He added that 50% of sales achieved last year were to clients outside Egypt, a focus of the company's marketing in foreign markets as part of its expansion strategy in several markets.
Shalaby explained that this year will witness the announcement of a new Tatweer Misr project abroad, whether in the Sultanate of Oman or Saudi Arabia, in addition to the company's expansion within the Egyptian market. He noted that the company seeks to increase its non-residential portfolio, which includes the possibility of expanding into the downtown area and its existing assets.
He continued that the company places foreign expansion at the top of its priorities, alongside its ongoing efforts within Egypt, noting that Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and the North Coast in Egypt are the most attractive areas for real estate companies at the present time.
