Dr. Essam El-Din stressed that El-Sisi's speech at the 34th Arab Summit in Baghdad was a milestone in strengthening joint Arab action on security issues and conflicts in the region. She stressed Egypt's firm position on ending the war in Gaza and on reconstruction, and the need for a unified Arab position on the international stage to uphold the restoration of security and stability to the Arab region.
She added that the President's speech clearly embodied the injustice and brutal aggression to which the people are subjected, and emphasized that the Palestinian cause will remain a major focus of Egyptian national security and will be on Egypt's international agenda and at any summit in which it participates.
She stressed that the Egyptian people stand with their leader, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in his stance toward halting the war on Gaza, ending the occupation, and establishing an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
