Participating companies included those seeking to explore new production and investment partnerships with Egypt, as well as companies seeking to expand and develop their current activities in the Egyptian market.
El Khatib presented the developments in the economic and monetary reforms recently adopted by the Egyptian government to improve the investment climate and attract new investments, given the regional and international circumstances and challenges that have impacted the Egyptian economy in recent years.
Points of contact were immediately established within the Ministries of Investment and Foreign Trade and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade to begin following up on the results of the Minister's meeting with Russian companies and to remove any obstacles to their targeted activities in Egypt.
The Minister held a series of bilateral meetings with a number of Russian company officials in the technological, commercial, and logistics sectors to discuss their targeted expansion plans in the Egyptian market as soon as possible.
