On this occasion, Engineer Ismail El-Sebaei, Chief Information Technology Officer of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, affirmed that the bank has witnessed significant development in the field of financial technology and digital transformation. It now possesses a strong technological infrastructure. This follows the development and modernization of the "Data Center" at the bank's headquarters, allowing the bank, for the first time, to possess a comprehensive technological system adhering to the latest international standards, meeting its operational needs and fulfilling customer requirements. He also emphasized the activation of its Finacle banking system, which represents the most current technology in banking systems and is an advanced system utilizing the latest technological tools to execute all essential banking operations required by customers.
El-Sebaei emphasized that substantial investments have been made to finalise the strategy for developing the technological infrastructure in record time. The bank has upgraded and modernized its branch network and enhanced internal communication channels, streamlining communication and accelerating problem-solving. Furthermore, it has implemented standard cybersecurity systems for devices and data. Support and training have also been provided to employees across all job levels to enhance their skills and develop their professional capabilities in utilizing the new technological system.
