El-Sherbiny : More units offered in Diarna project across 3 new cities

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, has decided to extend the booking period for housing units in the first phase of the largest offering of housing units in a number of cities and governorates. The units are currently offered for booking in cooperation with the New Urban Communities Authority and the Housing and Development Bank. The extension will last for one month starting from the end date of the period designated for applications and payment of the reservation deposit in the announcement published on April 13, 2025.

El-Sherbiny also announced an increase in the number of units offered for booking in the first phase of the Diarna project in New Alamein City, with a total of 364 units, in New October City with a total of 364 units, and in New Suez City with a total of 312 units.

He pointed out that this comes in continuation of the announcement published on April 13, 2025, regarding the offering of 261,253 housing units in several governorates and new cities. This will be done through the New Urban Communities Authority, in cooperation with the Housing and Development Bank, over five phases, starting from April 15, 2025, to April 15, 2026. This comes in response to customer requests.

He explained that the announcement of 400,000 housing units, the largest housing offering prepared by the Ministry of Housing, comes in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to provide adequate housing for all income groups. He noted that this offering represents a major step towards achieving the state's vision of providing adequate and suitable housing for all citizens.

El-Sherbiny noted that the first phase, comprising a total of 35,088 housing units, was offered through the Housing and Development Bank's website on April 15.
