Seddik explained that the project includes vast and integrated investment areas, including various recreational areas, modern cinemas, a commercial area, and the area surrounding the natural lake and green hills. It also includes an open area for restaurants and cafeterias, shops, gardens, large squares for celebrations, artistic and cultural events, and recreational activities, an arena with a capacity of 10,000 people, hotels, hotel apartments, and parking areas.
He indicated that this invitation is directed to Egyptian and international companies or alliances to contract for the Fustat Hills Gardens Rehabilitation, Management, Operation, and Maintenance Project. This is conditional upon companies having a proven track record in managing major cultural, commercial, hotel, entertainment, and tourism projects, as well as in investment, rehabilitation, operation, and maintenance. The companies must also have the capabilities, potential, and previous experience in managing and operating similar projects in accordance with international quality standards. Furthermore, the competencies and alliances submitted must be fully relevant to similar major projects.
He added that the qualification procedures depend entirely on the ability and resources of the advanced companies or alliances to carry out the work, in terms of: previous experience in similar specialized work in terms of size, nature, and diversity, as well as distinguished competence in terms of technical and other personnel, in addition to the financial position of the advanced companies and alliances.
Seddik pointed out that the advanced companies and alliances that wish to make a field visit to the project to learn and see its components, and submit a letter signed and sealed by the company or alliance, addressed to the fund’s address, no later than May 25, 2025, which is: the third floor of the Cabinet's Affiliated Bodies Building, Government District, New Administrative Capital, Cairo Governorate.
He indicated that Egyptian and international companies or alliances applying for qualification must submit their completed qualification documents in a sealed envelope clearly written "Documents for Qualification for the Fustat Hills Gardens Rehabilitation, Management, Operation, and Maintenance Project." The documents must be in the original, two photocopies, and an electronic PDF file to the Urban Development Fund address indicated above, no later than June 4, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
The documents of applicants will be evaluated in accordance with Egyptian rules, standards, and laws, and a shortlist of the names of the selected qualified companies or alliances will be prepared in preparation for the completion of the tender and award process.
