He added that the two sides witnessed the signing of a
number of agreements and memoranda of understanding before holding a joint
press conference.
During the press conference, the President emphasized the

the Comoros, rooted in their shared Arab, African, and Islamic identity. He
stated that these ties form a strong basis for enhanced cooperation across
various sectors.
The President added that his fruitful bilateral discussions
with the President of the Comoros focused on strengthening existing cooperation
frameworks. They agreed to intensify efforts to boost bilateral ties in the
economic, investment, and commercial spheres, aligning with the brotherly
relations and available opportunities. He affirmed the Egyptian government and
companies' commitment to supporting Comoros' development plans, particularly
the "Comoros Emerging Plan 2030," and to sharing Egypt's development
expertise and experience in implementing projects in fellow African nations
across diverse economic sectors.
Both presidents agreed on the need to enhance the rates of
trade exchange between the two countries, especially in light of Egypt and the
Comoros' membership in the COMESA, which ensures the achievement of the goals
of continental regional integration and the promotion of intra-African trade.
Discussions also covered shared regional and international
concerns, notably African Union matters, the situations in Gaza and Sudan,
developments in the Horn of Africa, Red Sea security, and counter-terrorism.
The presidents underscored the importance of the Sahel and Sahara Grouping's
