Huawei and Visit Qatar officially announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance Qatar's position as a leading global tourism destination. The MoU was signed during Arabian Travel Market 2025 in Dubai, reflecting the two parties' shared vision of driving sustainable tourism growth. The MoU will leverage Huawei's advanced technologies and marketing platforms to enhance the tourism experience in Qatar and stimulate demand for high-yield luxury tourism.

A comprehensive partnership to promote global high-end tourism:

Through this partnership, Huawei and Visit Qatar are committed to developing a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at attracting visitors from around the world, strengthening Qatar's tourism ecosystem, and supporting the country's economic growth. This collaboration follows the official launch of (Visit Qatar HarmonyOS Atomic Service), an innovative technology solution designed to provide a seamless and superior travel experience for Chinese visitors. This new technology represents a significant development that makes it easier for Chinese visitors to explore the best of Qatar through their Huawei devices. This service, integrated into Huawei's operating system, provides quick access to personalized travel tools, helping visitors plan and enjoy their trips with ease, from discovering cultural attractions to navigating seamlessly, as part of an integrated experience that introduces them to the rich characteristics of Qatari culture.

The partnership will focus on three main pillars: First, reaching international travelers with high spending power by leveraging Huawei's strong presence across multiple channels, with a focus on European, Chinese, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets, to raise awareness and encourage bookings to Qatar. The partnership will also include sharing data and insights based on Huawei's Digital Marketing Platform (DMP) to contribute to the development of a long-term tourism strategy that reflects the aspirations of global audiences. Finally, Huawei and Visit Qatar will work together to develop an integrated strategy from all angles, encompassing smart mobility solutions such as the Harmony Atomic Card, Huawei Wallet, Petal Maps, and the Artificial Intelligence (AI) ​​Assistant. Together, these solutions will contribute to ensuring a seamless travel experience for Huawei users and enhancing Qatar's appeal as a global destination.

Huawei will offer a range of technological innovations that enhance visitor experiences, from easy access to tourism services to payment options for transportation services, along with AI-powered travel suggestions. Huawei's photography and sharing technologies will enable tourists to capture and share their memorable moments, helping promote Qatar as an ideal destination for both leisure and business tourism.
