Minister of Labor Mohamed Gobran highlighted on WednesdayEgypt's significant wealth of skilled human resources across various sectors. He emphasized the government's top priority of enhancing the national workforce's efficiency through specialized technological education in collaboration with local and international partners. Continuous development of vocational training centers and provision of necessary programs aim to boost the competitiveness of Egyptian workers in both domestic and international job markets.

Minister Gobran's remarks were delivered at the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Investment and Business Forum in Cairo, attended by key figures Mohammed Jassim Al-Saqr, head of the Kuwaiti side of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Cooperation Council, Engineer Ibrahim AlArabi, head of the Egyptian side of the Cooperation Council, Ghanem Al-Ghanem, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Cairo; Osama Shaltout, the Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait, and Hossam Heiba, head of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.

He noted that this forum was a direct outcome of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's recent visit to Kuwait and his meeting with the Amir, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as Kuwaiti business leaders. This reflects the political leadership's commitment to engaging with investors, addressing their perspectives, and facilitating investment in Egypt.

Gobran affirmed the Ministry's readiness for direct cooperation in supplying needed labor across sectors. He assured streamlined recruitment procedures, provision of suitable workforce through transparent and quality mechanisms protecting the rights of all parties, and support for serious economic initiatives fostering job creation, production growth, export enhancement, and comprehensive development. He particularly mentioned the recent parliamentary approval of the new Egyptian Labor Law, which serves the interests of both employers and employees and encourages investment in a favorable work environment.

Minister Gobran concluded by inviting all investors to capitalize on Egypt's promising investment opportunities, driven by comprehensive economic and legislative reforms.
