Intelcia Egypt provides services to clients in the United States, Europe, and the Gulf region. Through multiple services offered in seven different languages, it enhances Egypt's position as a regional center of excellence for the company in outsourcing and customer experience.
Intelcia plans to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian
market by creating 1,300 new direct job opportunities, bringing its total
workforce in Egypt to approximately 4,000 specialists. It also intends to open
two additional centers in Greater Cairo and Alexandria by 2026, bringing its
total number of centers in Egypt to four.
The inauguration was attended by Karim Barnoussy, CEO of the
Intelcia Group, Engineer Ahmed Elzaher, CEO of the Information Technology Industry
Development Agency (ITIDA), Mohamed Slimany, CEO of Intelcia Operations in the
Americas and English-speaking markets, a number of leaders from the Ministry of
Communications and Information Technology, as well as members of the Executive
Committee and representatives of regional leadership at Intelcia.
The Minister of Communications emphasized that Intelcia's
expansion of its investments in Egypt reflects its confidence in young Egyptian
talent, which is capable of providing multilingual outsourcing services
efficiently. He stated that the availability of a strong base of Egyptian
competencies in communications and information technology is a key element in
enhancing Egypt's competitiveness in the global outsourcing industry. He added
that Egypt possesses significant young human capital, with more than 750,000
university graduates annually, and highlighted the variety of programs and
initiatives implemented by the Ministry to qualify young people from various
disciplines and enhance their capabilities in the outsourcing industry, thereby
contributing to bridging the skills gap in global markets.
Karim Barnoussy, Founder and CEO of the Intelcia Group,
stated: "The opening of our new headquarters in Egypt is not just a
geographical expansion but a pivotal step in our strategy for sustainable
global growth. Egypt is a promising market due to its supportive investment
environment and the presence of professional competencies capable of driving
innovation and development in the outsourcing sector."
Engineer Ahmed Elzaher, CEO of the Information Technology
Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), affirmed that Egypt's competitive
advantages in the outsourcing sector extend beyond low business costs to
include an integrated system based on an abundance of young skills and
competencies, technological development, and a business environment built on
trust. Egypt has become the preferred destination for nearshore and offshore
outsourcing operations, solidifying its global position and driving the sector's
growth while creating thousands of job opportunities for Egyptian youth.
For his part, Mohamed Slimany, CEO of Intelcia Operations in
the Americas and English-speaking markets, emphasized that Egypt represents
more than just an investment destination. It is a launchpad for providing
cross-border services. The presence of the company's main centers in Greater
Cairo and Alexandria has made Egypt a cornerstone in providing advanced
multilingual and multi-channel customer experience solutions, thanks to its
rich and highly qualified human resources.
It is worth noting that Intelcia also operates an
outsourcing services center in the Technological Zone of Borg El Arab in
Alexandria. This center was established when the company entered the Egyptian
market in early 2023, and it has since achieved rapid growth and remarkable
success, employing approximately 2,700 specialists. This growth reflects the
abundance of skills within the Egyptian market and the ease of conducting
business in the field of exporting multilingual outsourcing services. This
expansion aligns with the company's vision to maximize the benefits of Egypt's
competitive capabilities and its potential as a leading hub for multilingual
outsourcing services, catering to its clients in various global markets.
